JOHN LENNON Creating a Portrait


Celebrity artist David Lloyd Glover creates the John Lennon "Birth of the Beatles" portrait. Utilizing a solarization technique Glover breaks down the photographic image of John into tones of grey. This shows the careful pencil drawing he did to transfer the photo image to a graphic design on canvas.

FRANK SINATRA


The Chairman of the Board made his famous recording with the Count Basie Orchestra for his own Reprise Records. Frank worked with Neal Hefti on the arrangements and production. What was produced was some of the finest swinging jazz vocals ever recorded.
